In the year....

Leaning her elbows against the bench behind her, she watched the basket ball team. "BO!" she shouts before laughing for she hated the team here. They sucked at playing a good game. It was a reason why she wasn't a cheerleader. Well, that and the fact she just hated cheering. They were for girls with spirit and Eliana had no spirit for this school. Her eyes quickly drew it's attenuation to Julian? "What?" she leaned forward thinking it was all in her head like her father said. He's not real. she kept telling herself, not wanting another heart break. Watching some of the guys take their shirts off, her eyes wouldn't take of Julian's body. He was pretty fit for his age. Eliana sat their for fifteen minutes before standing up and walked down the benches. "Hold on time!" One of the guys said as he ran over to Eliana. "Hey Eli you doing anything this weekend?" he asked. Her eyes scanned Julian's body before reverting back to the boy "Um no what day are you thinking about?" she asked tilting her head to the side. "Sunday." he grinned. Eli thought about it "Um no sorry. Sundays are my day.. Bye." Eliana waved her hand walking out of the gym. Sundays was when she makes her sandwich and ice cream, sit down on the couch and watch horror films.

Julian was about to make another shot until one of the guys told them to hold the time. He breathed normally and wiped the bit of sweat off of his forehead..he defiantly didn't consider these guys as a challenge. His 'friends' are way more of a fight to win. Dribbling the ball, he looked over to where the guy was heading seeing he was talking to Eli. He raised an eyebrow before pretending he wasn't listening in as he started a small conversation with one of the guys. His eyes looked over his shoulder as she walked out of the gym before he chest passed the ball to the guy that talked to her making the ball hit his chest roughly. "Oh shit..sorry dude." He raised his hands "Didn't mean to pass it so rough." He faked a sheepish chuckle. "Anyways, I'll catch you guys later..I gotta..do something." He mumbled,grabbing his shirt on the way out. He slipped it on and glanced around for Eli until the bell rang. He looked around seeing everyone going to class before remembering his class room number. Walking over to it, he sighed seeing he was late yet kept his smile to the teacher. "Sorry, I got..lost." He smiled as he rubbed his hands together "So if you excuse me-" He gestured to an empty seat and sat down. Well, this wasn't going how it was planned seeing the teacher giving him a look.

Sadly, Eli wasn't in that class or in any classroom. She said she would go to school never said anything about attending glasses as she was outside sitting under a tree. Doodling in her book finding it calming every time she drew. Resting her arms on her knees she glanced over at the school building. Wondering to herself if that was really him or was she just imagining Julian was will with her as she gripped tightly on her necklace. "No, dad's wrong he's here... He is." she mumbled to herself. Huffing she laid down on the grass looking up at the sky "Hmm... Nap time. Until people come out here to eat." She mumbled, shifting her body to her side and fell asleep. About half an hour she woke up hearing the bell ring as she opened her eyes slowly. "Five more hours..." she rolled on her stomach.

Julian really didn't like class at all. He pictured high school interesting with teachers being cool with you doing nothing and all. This was the complete opposite. Grabbing a pencil, he looked down at a random sheet of paper and draw a smiley face with its tongue sticking out before the teacher snatched it from his desk. He looked up at the teacher with a roll of his eyes. "No doodling in this class." The teacher said strictly as Julian tried to reach for the paper. "I don't see why..it's just drawing..there is such a thing called multi-tasking." He mumbled as the teacher gave him a look. "Care to repeat that?" Julian glared up at the teacher really not liking to be bossed around by someone else. He stood up and leaned close to the teachers face. "I said..I was still paying attention to your piece of shit lesson." Everyone in the classroom then grew silent as the teacher handed him his sheet back along with a detention slip. "Get out and go to detention..first day of school for you and already starting off badly." The teacher said in a disappointed look. Julian grumbled something under his breath and grabbed his things as he walked out into the hallway. He looked over at the office before turning his head looking at the exit. "Fuck this." He mumbled to himself feeling like he is wasting time trying to blend in. He was just doodling...nothing wrong with that. He walked over to the exit and pushed the doors open. Walking outside, he noticed Eli..sleeping? He walked over and slightly puckered his lips out as he looked down at the ground before averting his eyes to her. Using his foot, he lightly nudged her wondering if she would get pissed at him for doing that.

Feeling something poke her in the side she grumbled smacking it with her hand. Almost drifting back to sleep she felt it again "Go away.." she mumbled, trying to sleep once more. Third times the charm, she lift her body up still half sleep. "I said g-" Her eyes reverted up to see Julian. "Julian?" she questioned. "Is this really you or am I starting to have a mental break down from you being gone?" Eliana was starting to think she was crazy. Maybe, her father was right. Pushing herself up she bumped into him trying to gain her balance. Eli was still sleepy from taking that nap. "Anyways... Are you real? I'm not crazy right?" she asked. She felt her eyes tearing up again from not only seeing him again but hoping she was right. That he was here and she wasn't going crazy.

Julian slightly smirked as she smacked his foot before giving her another light nudge,tilting his head to the side. As he went for a third time, he breathed a chuckle as she lifted her body up. "Of course it's me..who else could it be?" He asked with a small smile before she bumped into him trying to gain her balance. "No, you are crazy" He smirked with a small nod to his head "...but I am real too." He smirked down at her as he brushed her hair behind her ear. "Nice to see you again." He smiled at her trying to get to her soft side. It wasn't gonna be difficult seeing he was her childhood friend. Still, in a way, she was his soft spot..but he couldn't let anyone know that from where he works. That wouldn't make things end up well. "And..about the whole 'dead' thing...I was in an accident." He lied seeing his whole resurrection would freak the Rivera's family. "Just..forgot my memory..but I've regained it so..it's all good!" He breathed a chuckle,not knowing if that was believable or not.

Eliana gave him a look when he called her crazy. "Call me crazy one more time and I'll make sure you are dead for real." She hated to be called crazy to be treated like she was. It felt weird when he brushed her hair for she kept a wall up to shield her heart. Yet, he was the only one who felt a gaping hole. So it will be easy to fiddle his way in and gain her love. Raising a brow at his story, Eli pulled his hands away from her "Yeah.. Bull crap." she glared at him. "Like I am going to take your little.. Oh poor me I lost my memory but oh wait! Somehow I regain it." Placing her hands on her hips, tilting her head to the side "When you want to tell me the truth. You know where to fine me or have you 'forgotten' where I live." she rolled her eyes, picking up her notebook and turned around. As she was about to head off he grabbed her hand and spun her around "What!' she looked up at him. Eli was scared to be alone with him. Not because of urges sex to her was nothing... It was great but it was just a distraction to how she feels. She was scared to lose him again. To feel empty.

Julian slightly smirked at her threat. "Are you always gonna continue to threaten me? Because I have a feeling this is gonna be a casual thing now." He raised an eyebrow,gesturing to both of them. When she pushed his hand away from her, he raised his eyebrows as she glared at him. Yea, he figured that story wouldn't work. The way she probably saw it, he left with his mom without saying good-bye. As she was about to head off, he reached for her hand and spun her around. "Look, I know leaving was..unexpected,but you have to understand that I didn't want to go." He said as he looked down at the grass. Thinking about all the torturing, his eyes saddened. "I would have preferred growing up here..with you." He confessed as he looked into her eyes. "But, it wasn't my choice..things happened and-" He stopped knowing they would probably kill her if he told. "I was scared..my mom was scared..our only option was to leave.."

Shrugging her shoulders up and down as she dropped her hands to her side. She tilt her head to the side as her face saddened, all she could think about leaving her. "Why a funeral? Why not come up to me and say bye? I could have handled that better than to think your six feet underground." Eli was mad at him, hating to think he wasn't man enough to just come out and say bye. They had to fake their deaths. Did he ever had feelings for her at all? Sure, they were just kids, but Eli was in love with him. She didn't know it at the time until she gotten older. Standing up on her tip toes, she pressed her lips against his. Why did he have to be her weakness? Her hand reached out to cup near his jaw.

"I didn't know about the funeral...I guess after time of being missing,they assumed we died.." He partially lied. He didn't know about the funeral,but he did know why there was one now..the government tried to cover their tracks. Glancing around the place, he hoped they weren't around listening in. "And I didn't say bye because..I didn't have the time to..everything happened so quickly." He shrugged not knowing how else to put it. Noticing her going on her tip toes, a small smile appeared on his lips as she pressed her lips against his. The thing he found funny was that they weren't even dating,yet they have been kissing like its a casual thing to do. He bent his neck down as he kissed her lips gently,so she wouldn't have to stand on her toes. Maybe this was gonna be easy to get her in bed with him. The problem would be if she was on a pill or something preventing a baby. It felt weird thinking about it. Pushing the thought away, his dragon instincts kicked in as he wrapped one around around her shoulders,pressing her up against him as the other loosely wrapped around her lower back. He roughened up the kiss before pulling away as he sucked on her lower lip for a second.He didn't see why people found it difficult to deal with her..he got to her just fine even though she did have a couple threats and anger moments towards him.

Placing her other hand on his shoulder letting out a small moan at the feel of his strong pecs against her body. Pulling away she bend her neck down kissing down his jawline, leaving a trail of kisses down his neck. As she sucked on his skin, her hand slide down his shoulder to feel his abs through his thin shirt. Using the tip of her tongue she licked up his neck before something in her mind told her to stop and pushed herself away from him. Cupping her hands mother her mouth she looked at him "This is wrong... I... Gotta go." Any longer and she would have giving in. He wasn't back for a day and she's all over him like a lusting animal. Pulling the strap over her shoulder she started to walk off before he spoke. Quickly she turned brushing her hair away from her face "What Julian... This doesn't change anything now that your back.... I have a boyfriend." she lied to protect herself.

As she kissed down his jawline, he closed his eyes to enjoy the feeling a bit more as his hand slightly lifted her shirt from her back. Feeling the smooth texture of her skin, he slightly grinned opening his eyes as he looked down at her ass while she sucked on his skin. His arm kept her pressed to him as he breathed out slowly feeling the tip of her tongue running up her neck while his hand moved from under her shirt to rub over her ass. As she pushed herself away from him, he let go of her with his hands raised thinking he went too far too fast until she said it was wrong. He felt dumbfounded..how could making-out be wrong? Sure, he was craving for her,but it doesn't mean its wrong. As she started to walk off, he ran a hand through his hair. "What wrong about a couple old friends bonding?" He chuckled,trying to lighten up the mood. When she said she had a boyfriend, he looked down at the ground,rubbing his arm. "Really? This whole time?...Then why would you kiss me?" He asked looking back up at her. "You know what? Never mind..I'll forget any of this happened." He gestured to the both of them as he took out his detention slip. "I'm not even suppose to be here anyways.." He breathed a hesitant chuckle,not wanting things to get awkward between them. He still had a job to do after all. "See ya around?"

Eliana frowned hearing what he said mouthing out he's her weakness, but her head was low enough for him not to see. Walking away she didn't bother staying for the second half of school. Making it home she slammed the door not caring if anyone heard her as she started crying falling on her knees. It was hard to see him and not wonder why he never bothered to say bye. Why he never tried to look for her. And why all of the sudden he is back now. "Daddy.... Mom!" she cried wanting one of them to show up in they were in the house. Hell, Audrey would even work at this moment. How come with Julian he can soften her up and yet hurt to be either around him or away from him. She blamed it on her condition. Knowing what she wanted. Which was always forever remain Julian and he's here in the flesh. And Eliana is afraid to even try.

Jayden was in his studio at home trying to think of a way to finish off the script with a bag. It was difficult seeing most ending are predictable,but he didn't want that. Just as he put the pencil tip on the paper, he jumped when he heard the slam of the door. Hearing Eli's voice, he looked over at the time. "What the hell is she doing here?" He sighed as he stood up about to tell her to go back to school before he stopped at the stairs hearing her cry. He looked around for Audrey feeling like he couldn't handle Eli before sighing..he was he father..he had to do something. Walking over to her, he knelt down beside her and rubbed her back. "What happened?" He asked in a worrisome manner thinking of the worst.

Eliana feld a hand on her back looking up at her father. In a instant her arms wrapped around him, crying on his chest. She couldn't say. He would only call her crazy. "D..D-Don't call me crazy or that I need to see that shrink but..." she choke on her words desperately trying to speak. Sobbing even more she bit her lip. "I saw Julian again... He was at school back here and I didn't take any drugs or drink dad.. I swear he's alive." she looked at him "Please believe me... I'm not crazy... I'm not." Crying even more thinking he's just not going to take her word on this. "I don't want to feel like this anymore."

Once Eli wrapped her arms around him, he frowned as he wrapped his arms around her pulling her into a protective hug. Rubbing her back lightly, he hesitated not know what to say..or what to do. Hearing her, he looked down at her as she told him to not call her crazy making him wonder what had happened to make her think that. "I won't..don't worry. Just tell me.." His brow furrowed until she brought up Julian again. Seeing she looked pretty beat up about it, he pulled her away from his chest to look at her properly,tilting his head to the side. "And..you are crying because you keep seeing him?" He asked feeling confused to the whole situation. Is it just a girl thing? He pushed the thought away and wrapped his arms around her as he rubbed her arm. "I can't help you if you aren't willing to speak Eli.." He mumbled as he gave her a warm smile with his hand slightly over his mouth,wanting her to open up to what's going on.

Eliana didn't know what to say. It did would a little crazy "I'm not seeing him.. Check the school's log in if you don't believe that he is really here.." she sniffed trying to calm down. Her sorrow was turning into anger from just thinking about the lies. "I miss him daddy.." she frowned, "Even if you didn't really like him. He was the only one that made me feel I can be myself." Like him with her mother. "And knowing he's been alive makes me question. Why didn't he say bye, why didn't he come look for me. He even lied to me saying he 'lost' his memory." Eliana sighed, lowering her head down. Maybe she's crazy. She can't get him to believe he's alive unless Julian walked through that door. Like that will happen. "But mostly why he is even back..." she mumbled. "Never mind... I am crazy."

Jayden grew serious seeing how worked-up she was getting to prove he was alive. Maybe Hope was right..why was the casket closed? It was too much to take in for him though...it was like when he kept seeing Julia everywhere after she died..but this was different. He just played along seeing if she knew he didn't believe her..she would just flip out. "I know you do." He sighed before looking at Eli's eyes seeing Hope was right..she was another him. "Have you thought about asking him?" He mumbled looking down at the ground not knowing she already did that. "Or what about digging in for yourself..?" He breathed a hesitant chuckle,remembering when he used to get in trouble by taking things into his own hands. He couldn't believe he was giving her that advice,but he didn't want to see her down. "You know like go do some snooping around..I used to do that when I thought someone was hiding something from me...I mean,sure it's wrong but-" He sighed "If you feel that it's important.." He mumbled with a smalls shrug. What harm could it cause? After all, he was dead...He quickly scoffed when she said she was crazy. "No, you aren't." He said "You are just..misunderstood..got it?" He asked with a small nod. He honestly didn't know how to feel about this..he kept feeling like Julian was alive the way she talk about him,but everything was so confusing.

Hearing her dad telling her about snooping around to try getting the answers she needed to move on. She rolled her head back as her eyes slightly closed "And get myself in even more trouble with you?" she didn't want to be thrown in jail and him yell at her for it. "Only thing I would think of is dig up Julian's and his mother's grave to see if the bodies are inside. Or check out seeing if they have a death certificate. But I would need mom to help." she looked back at her father "She can act her way into getting a lot of info." She couldn't take a snap shot of Julian now seeing he doesn't look blonde. How to convince her father he is alive. Her mother least understood her theory. Why can't Jayden be more like her when it comes to stuff like this. "If you think that when... Why do treat me like a problem? Or least I feel like I'm that in your eyes dad.."

"Yea, you can do that too,but I was talking about solving your problem with...Julian." He mumbled feeling weird on using his name. "I'm not talking about proving Julian is alive because that's not the problem you were crying to me about." He pointed out as his eyes averted to the floor. "After all, if there is nothing to hide as to why he left without saying good-bye,and why he didn't come looking for you until now, why lie?" He asked feeling like finding out the truth would be the only thing that would put her mind to rest,but he still was being cynical about so proving Julian was a live might help. "Well, the hospital holds records of DNA samples from way back when.." He mentioned knowing that the hospital Julian and Mini went to should still have their DNA samples after three-hundred years. "You can compare that to..this Julian's DNA." He mumbled "But your choice.." He shrugged. He blinked when she said she felt like his problem making him breath a sigh. "Because..I am now realizing how much I used to be just like you...and I know how it's like dealing with people who think your crazy. Hell, I started to believe so myself..but I'm sorry if I made you feel that way..."

"Then stop treating me like one.." she mumbled looking at him with a frown. Sighing to herself while rubbing her temples, Eliana pushed herself back on her feet. "Oh.. If you get a call from the teacher.. I may or may not painted over the school's wall." she smiled innocently before waving her hand. "Well, I'm going to the park love you daddy." Quickly she rushed out of the house in time as he was about to say something. Turning into a wolf she ran around in the woods, sniffing the air she caught a strange scent and ran towards it. After what felt like forever. She stopped seeing Julian and turned back into a human "Um... Hey.." she said, fiddling with her fingers.

Julian didn't go to detention seeing they had given him someone to eliminate that was in town. He chased after him to lure him into the woods. Quickly, he ran in front of him and hid behind a tree for a surprise attack. Peeking his head out, he reloaded his gun before turning his head back seeing Eli. His eyes widened as he quickly stuffed the gun in his gun. "Ohh-uhh..hey." He smiled before running his tongue on the inside of his mouth as he scratched the side of his head. "What brings you here?" He breathed as he looked over his shoulder. He figured he wasn't gonna finish the job today. Oh well, there was always next time. "I thought you were gonna be with your boyfriend.." He smiled as he walked away from the tree,pulling his shirt down to cover up the top of the gun. "Unless you were hunting because if that's the case..I am not food,if that's what your nose was sniffing out." He chuckled,lightly poking her nose.

She tilt her head to the side thinking she saw something. Perking her lips put giving her shoulders a slight shrug, it wasn't per problem. The young wolf cross her arms giving him a look "Just because I have a 'boyfriend' doesn't mean I have to spend all my time with him." she said in a harsh tone. Still having this gut feeling he's still lying to her. He has changed simple to just tell herself that and be done. Her nose cringed after he poked it "Stop." she smacked his hand away. "I hate that much as I hate people still pinching my cheeks." "Wait a sec." she stopped pointing her finger up at his face "Why are you doing out here?" Eliana wanted to know and if he lies to her. She'll find out his little secret one way or another.

Julian thought about knowing she had a point. "I guess..but I suggest you keep an eye on him if he is anything like you." He rolled his eyes and breathed a small irritated chuckle. He didn't understand why she lead him on if it wasn't going anywhere. When she smacked his hand away, he breathed a sigh. He had forgotten how feisty she was..defiantly not like other girls. Not that he really mind..he liked it. When she pointed her finger at him, he grew serious as he straightened his posture. "Hunting..I am a creature after all.." He mumbled partially telling the truth. He was in a way hunting for a prey,but not an animal..more like a human. Sensing the guy coming closer, he looked over his shoulder with his eyebrows raised before averting his eyes to the sky until finally looking back at Eli as he tried to keep his calm. "Why else would I be out here?" He smirked as he hid his panic hoping the guy he was after wouldn't pass them.

"Anything like me?" she mumbled, taking it the wrong way thinks to her contradiction. Eliana gave him a shove "You don't even know me anymore. You jerk!" she glared at him. Shoving him again, she went to punch him in the jaw. Gasping as he caught her fist she didn't take her eyes off him. Hearing him say why else he would be here, she sighed in a irritating matter. "Oh, I don't know. Maybe, it's because you been lying to me. Why are you even back in New Orleans anyways?!" she grew angry with him. Having so many things to ask and not getting the truth. And one thing she hated most in the word was a liar. Yes, she lies to her parents about things but only cause she's a teenager.
