A Secretive Sleepover

She felt anger raising up yet quickly died down into sadness "You really think that.." Hope shook her head in disappointment by the way he thought if her. "Jayden as if you give the slightest care of what i say or even think I'm telling the truth?" She placed her hand on her hips thinking twice about telling him. He doesn't care. He thinks of her as only a hunter "I care deeply, I really do Jayden. That's why I don't want you out there with human blood in you, next time you might kill someone. I don't want other hunters to come after you and kill you." she said, "In code: I want to keep you alive because I like you idiot! I'm doing this because I care not because I'm trapping you like a dog!" she almost shout "I care.. Okay, I a 'hunter' cares about someone like you to keep you safe and your family. If you think that's so bad then I'm the fucking monster here."

Jayden glared at her as she shook her head. He then rolled his eyes as he breathed a frustrated chuckle,turning his head to face the wall. He didn't want to hear her 'excuse' of keeping him alive. Still, part of him wanted to hear what she had to say,so although it looked like he wasn't paying attention to her..he was. When she finished, he didn't know what to say. Was she telling the truth? If she really did want to kill him..she would have already done it,right? He looked back at her as he took in a deep breath. He wanted to say something..his face was showing it,but no words came out of his mouth. He quickly turned his head again,keeping his mouth shut. What was he suppose to say? It felt weird apologizing because of the situation he was in.

"So... Hate me all you want, never speak to me after this but I'm doing this or you Jayden. If I wanted you head don't you think I would have killed you at school or any of the times after that? Go to your house, agree to be your girlfriend... Which I guess now I'm not." She clinched her shirt "Please, drink the animal blood. I'm sorry about the bowls it was the only thing to hold all the blood." she felt like she was rambling and nothing was getting passed his tiny brain. "And please... Please! Don't make any noise I had no idea don't think i set this up.. My mom sent another hunter down here to look up all the attacks that's been going on." Hope wanted to say thanks to Neca but didn't sound like the right time. Her eyes never once moved away from Jayden, they told the truth "I'll keep him away. You can trust me."

Jayden looked at back her when she spoke again and thrust his hands in his pockets. When she mentioned about her probably not being his girlfriend now, he tucked his lips in not sure how to feel. Glancing at the animal when she mentioned it, he realized she had a point. In order for him to go back to his regular 'snack', he has to go back to drinking it. Once she talked about another hunter, he frowned. Great, another hunter. He shook his head still not feeling safe at all and walked away to lean against the wall in the shadows. He never thought he would want this..but he just wanted to go back home.

She nodded her head biting down on her lip and ran back up already reading that this was the end. He couldn't speak her to after this so what was the point of talking it was a waist. In the kitchen she had taken three pills before laying in the couch crying herself to sleep. Morning passed and the other hunter entered the house "Hope?" he yelled in a husky voice. Walking in the living room finding her still asleep on the couch he walked over towards her "Hope?" he shook her "Hope?" he called her name out again. "Damn it wake up! HOPE!" he shout "YOU AND THIS DAMN PILLS!" his voice grew louder not knowing someone was in the house to hear. Picking her up he carried her into the kitchen looking down at the broken pieces, blood on the floor, and a bloody hand print. He thought maybe Hope had been turned so he knows what has to happen.

Jayden breathed out shakily as she ran back up feeling once again empty. His whole life lately had been feeling empty..and then she came giving him something..he didn't know the feeling yet..but there was something there,so watching her go made him feel like the monster he really is. He closed his eyes and without realizing had fallen asleep again. It's not like there was much to do but sleep anyways. The sound of a shouting voice woke him up the next day making him grow pale. It had to be the other hunter. There was no way he was ready to fight at the moment. He glanced around the room,panicking before crawling over to a corner. His eyes widened as he flinched when he accidentally knocked over a glass bottle. Staying still, his body felt frozen. Normally he wouldn't care to stand up to a hunter,but this was on a hunter's turf..they had the complete advantage.

Hearing the sound of glass shattering in the basement he carried Hope down there with him. Placing her head center of the door, cuffing her hands and feet down tightly, Hope moaned bobbing her head back. He whistled snapping his fingers in front of her "Hey baby, wake up daddy's home." he smirked at her once she opened her eyes. "Go away." "Still getting high I see. What is it because this time? Huh? Do we have a little secret Lynn?" he called her by her middle name. Hope's eyes fully opened looking at the door though the small window it had "What secret?" she asked, looking up at him "Well, Andrew? You always have all the knowledge? What am I hiding?" All hope wanted to do was to open the door and let Jayden out to get away from him but he wasn't ready to leave. Andrew grinned brushing a strand of her hair "Being turned my dear. You know your father's rules? Shame here I thought we were going to be married? Have the hunters life." Hope jerked her head back "I'm getting tired of this 'hunters life' bull crap."

Andrew took out his dagger and sliced her top wrist as Hope cried in pain. "And you know how we torture people to get answers." he growled placing his hand on the handle of the chair. "So tell me Hope. Why is the door shut it's never shut unless you have someone in there?" he grabbed her throat looking at her "Do you have someone in there." he asked, "No... I don't. I just cleaned the blood my parents left after the last creature they killed." she lied not wanting Jayden hurt. "Hmm, okay then I believe you cause why would you lie." he stabbed her in the stomach as Hope cried out in pain. "Now tell me the truth."

Jayden looked over at the small window noticing Hope and a stranger. He kept his silence as he looked down at the floor thinking they were just having a conversation not realizing that it was more an interrogation until he decided to listen in. "Turned?" He mumbled silently to himself before hesitantly standing. He quickly flinched when he heard Hope cry in pain making his anger rise at this hunter. Why would a hunter do that to another hunter? Don't they help each other out instead of attack each other. His eyes widened when he noticed she was protecting him. As he heard her cry, his hands balled up into fists as he quickly rushed over to the door fiddling with the handle before kicking trying to get the hunters attention. It was he who he wanted,right? If it's a fight he wants..it's a fight he gets. He groaned as he continued to slam his foot against the door.

The blade in her gut was unbearable as Hope continued to cry "Answer me!" he yelled gripping on her shoulders before hearing a thud followed by a kick at the door. He keep the blade in Hope's stomach as he walked over towards the door and opened it up. Out came out a guy that was locked in the room "My, my look what we have here." he grinned at the guy

Just as he was about to give it another kick, the guy opened the door causing Jayden to slightly stumble out before looking up at him with a glare. "What?" He glared before raised his eyebrows as he faked a smile "My,my I do see what we have here...A typical killer." He grinned before pushing him before hesitantly glancing at Hope wanting to run over to her to help her.

Andrew was pushed back by the guy as he quickly put on his brass knuckles behind hie back. Rushing up to him he punched him straight in the jaw and the other in his stomach. Hope watched as her eyes widen "No stop!" she struggled trying her hands through the cuff as the pain in her stomach worsened, hissing in pain. Andrew through a few more punches.

Just as Jayden was about to help her, he groaned when Andrew punched him straight in the jaw and quickly fell the ground when he other hit his stomach. He clenched onto his stomach before growling when he threw more punches. Trying to defend himself, his claws instinctively grew out as his natural reflexes caught the guys punch. He quickly twisted his arms as his claws deeply dug into Andrew's skin causing him to bleed. He then used his foot to push him back against the wall as his claws trailed threw the guy's skin before standing up. Without realizing, his wolf fangs grew out. The scent of blood wasn't helping at all at the moment.

The guy cried out in once the wolf's claws as he used his other arm to push him off. Hope's vision started to blur feeling the loss of blood "Jayden." she said weakly as her head lowered trying to stay awake. Andrew clinched his teeth then kicked Jayden "I can't believe she would like you.... Wait a-" he started to laugh "You're the same wolf day with the dead ex-girlfriend my parents killed. Well.." he pulled out a gun that was strapped to his side "Let’s make that two shall we?" he grinned pointing the gun to Hope’s head.

Jayden turned his head hearing Hope's weak voice. Before he had a chance to do anything, he groaned when Andrew kicked him. He glared at him as he had a bit trouble on standing up straight before he really began to clench his fist once he started to laugh. Once he brought up his parents killing his ex, his eyes widened as his eyes began to grow watery. "W-What?" He said as his voice trembled in anger and sorrow. Seeing him pull out a gun, his whole body began to sweat as he looked up at him with fear in his eyes. "Don't do this." He lowly mumbled.

It was like everything was coming back to haunt him and once again he felt weak. It was his fault his ex died..and now it was gonna be his fault of Hope's death...he thought. His hands quickly balled up into fists. No. Not this time. He growled and in a blink of eye, he grabbed a hold of the barrel of the gun with his hand and quickly pulled it to the side when he gun went off.Luckily,the bullet didn't hit him.He then pulled it downward and held it there. His knee quickly kicked the guy's groin area causing him to drop to the ground. Placing his other hand underneath the weapon, he wrapped his fingers over the back where the hammer is while he kept his other hand on the barrel. Quickly, he twisted the gun all the way around, breaking Andrew's finger on the trigger. Taking the gun, he pointed it to him. With nothing but hatred in his mind, he pulled the trigger. "This was all your fault." He breathed glaring down at Andrew's body.

"How sweet, but i'm not going to lessen to you. One: you're a werewolf and two: she's a traitor." About the pull the trigger everything happened in a blink of an eye. Andrew was on the floor looking up at Jayden before everything went dark... For life. His head body lying on the ground, bleeding out. Two of Hope's fingers twitched her hearing going in and out taking in bits of what the boys was saying. Last thing she heard before blacking out was the sound of a gun shot. Out cold her soul was slowly drifting away from the loss of blood as her face grew pale.

Jayden dropped the gun and looked over at Hope seeing she passed out. "No,no,no,no,no!" He rushed over to her as he lifted her head. "Hope?!" He breathed out with a panic before quickly reaching up to break the cuffs and reaching down to break them from her feet. He grabbed a hold of her body before she hit the floor and wrapped his arms tightly around her. He couldn't call the ambulance or they would find Andrew's lifeless body. He quickly moved Hope's body, carrying her bridal style before quickly rushing out of her house. Luckily for his car, he made it to the nearest hospital in a short time,but was it short enough to save Hope? "Help!" He yelled barging in there as everyone turned their heads. Once the doctors started rushing over, he gave her over to them as they carried her to the emergency room. He moved to sit on a chair before a woman approached him to question him. They asked for his home phone and everything about how it happened.He told them his home phone number,but he lied about what happened. He couldn't tell them the truth. Since his injury wasn't as severe as Hope's he had to wait a while for him to get service.

Doctors did everything to stop the bleeding, stitching up her wrist, finding anything they might have missed before stitching her tummy. It had taken them three hours before the doctor came out of the room as the young man who brought her in asked if she is alright. "She's lost a lot of blood, we got an IV in her but she had internal bleeding. We manage to stop it and your welcome to come see her if you wish." he said turning to the side for Jayden to start walking. Hope was asleep in the bed feeling herself waking up the sounds of the monitor beeping checking her heart rate. An iv in her arm and a oxygen nose on.

Jayden sighed of relief seeing himself starting to heal a bit. It was very slow,but something was something. He slowly fell asleep during the wait. After three hours, he opened his eyes as he stood up quickly seeing the doctor coming out. "Is she alright?" He asked looking up at him with concern. Once the doctor said that he was welcomed to see her, a tiny smile crept on the edge of his lips as he nodded. Walking over, he opened the door,poking his head inside. Seeing her sleeping, he sighed of relief and walked in as he moved to stand right next to her. He watched her with a frown as he hesitantly moved strands of her hair away from her face.

The doctor gave the boy a small smile unsure what to even tell him "Only time will tell if she's alright." he said. Once he showed the kid where Hope's room was at, he walked away to check on his other patients. Hope's eyes squint as her hand lift up holding onto Jayden's pinky finger making a light noise her eyes started to open up half way. "Ja-" she tried speaking still thinking she was dreaming. Her mind replayed Andrew punching Jayden as Hope quickly raised up gasping "Jayden!" Hope blinked looking around wondering where she was while turning her head to the side seeing Jayden.

Jayden looked at her hand as she held onto his pinky finger causing the small smile to widen a little bit. He moved his hand away and thrust them in his pockets seeing her trying to speak. Once she gasped, he jumped a bit in surprise before seeing her looking around. "Shh." He raised his index finger to his lips. "You're fine..I'm fine..it's gonna be alright." He smiled as he knelt down beside the bed. His arms crossed on the bed as he looked at her. "What..what was the last thing you...remember?" He asked hesitantly and quietly before remembering he actually killed someone. His face grew serious again as his neck slightly twitched causing him to turn his head. He got what he deserved...right?

"Where am I? What's going-" She stopped as Jayden told her everything was going to be alright. Looking at him with a slight confusing look she didn't remember a thing after Andrew started punching Jayden as she rubbed her temple. "Andrew punching you.." she said, having forgotten the sound of the gunshot but it was still floating around in the back of her mind. "How did I get here? Where is Andrew please tell me he didn't take off, he might tell his parents about you I-" Hope hissed in pain looking down at her hand that was wrapped up. Slowly she looked up seeing the look on Jayden's face "You still mad at me?"

Jayden hesitated when she told him the last thing she remembered. How the heck was gonna explain all that happened? He got lost in the thought before blinking as she spoke again. He glanced at her hand as she hissed and buried his lips on his crossed arms,only showing his eyes. He tried to think of a way of telling her. "About Andrew-" He stopped when she asked if he was still mad at her. He just shook his head as he looked down at the bed. In reality, he almost forgot about that...Moving his gaze back to her, his eyes began watery as he remembered about his ex. The guy's family killed her..and he almost killed Hope. "Listen Hope..whatever happens-" He paused trying to find the right words. "Whatever happens...just know...I had my reasons." He mumbled knowing he might get arrested for killing him. Especially with him being a werewolf, there was no way the police would think he killed Andrew for protecting someone.

Hope rubbed her temples again feeling like she's forgetting something but nothing came to find. What was it? Once he started speaking she turned her attention towards him his eyes were watering causing her frown and taking his hands "Hey? Jayden what's wrong?" she asked. As he spoke again she had this bad feeling he did something wrong. Did Jayden ate Andrew? "What is it?" Hope questioned raising an brow at him. Was it something she wasn't to like, that he tasted more human blood. Heck, she's surprised in a way that he didn't hurt her seeing she was bleeding. Did he care or her that much?

Jayden felt the warmth of her hands feeling like he was safer with her for some reason. "Nothing...well, something-but" He paused taking a slight gulp not knowing if there were camera's here or anything. "I-uh..Shot the guy." He mumbled lowly as he breathed out. "And I-I don't know what to do because that would mean I will go-" He couldn't bring himself to finish the sentence. "That guy is just-" He stopped against not being able to let his feelings out. It's like there was a big wall he had built himself when his ex died that prevented him from talking about what he actually felt. "Forget it." He mumbled "You should just rest." He shook his head.

Hope's eyes slightly widen but Andrew had it coming and she felt proud of Jayden. He didn't attack him as a wolf, tease his blood and even controlled himself. She felt like he wanted to tell her something but couldn't bring himself too. Leaning over she felt a sharp pain as she ignored it while giving Jayden a kiss on the forehead. Not being able to reach his lips with out crying out in pain, she leaned back against the bed as the nurse came in "Oh, sir your sister is here. Want her to come in?" she asked before looking at Hope "And I'll be back with your meds sweetie." Hope's face was still white from the loss of blood as she glanced up at the blood bag "Wait... Which sister?"
