A Secretive Sleepover

"Put your hand right here on her hand." she said placing Jayden's hand in the middle of her back "Now take her hand." Hope looked up at Jayden as she gave him her hand lifting herself up but felt a little weak. The nurse pushed against Jayden's arm making him give her a boost up. On her feet they felt like jello as she took a step forward losing her balance "Ah." Quickly Jayden was smart enough to catch her as the nurse gripped her chin shaking her head. "One more night to make sure she's gotten more blood in her but... Sadly it might take her awhile to regain the feeling in her legs and arms." Hope just pouted wanting to go now! Not stay another night.

Jayden was a bit lost and it was clearing showing by his face expression. When the nurse put his hand in the middle of her back, he looked down at her with a warm smile before he held her hand. As she began lifting herself up, he looked back at the nurse not sure what to do before she pushed against his arm. He then supported her a bit and looked down when she was on her feet,although her legs looked shaken up. As she took a step forward, his eyes widened as she lost her balance and instinctively caught her. "Whoa there." He mumbled lowly as he breathed a hesitant chuckle. Jayden lifted her up as he pressed her body against his before helping her back on the bed as he frowned hearing what the nurse said. "Oh.." He breathed. "How long do you think it will be?" He asked,gently laying her down. He moved away and glanced at Hope with a worrisome look.

Hope didn't like this feeling of weakness as she lowered her head onto Jayden's shoulder. "A couple of days, maybe longer. Make her drink plenty of milk and get her on her feet twice a day. Well keep her over night and she's welcome to go home with you tomorrow." the nurse said, leaving the soon shorty after. Hope looked up at Jayden "You can go home if you don't want to stay." not sure if he really wants to stay by her side the hole night. It gives Audery a night to tell her mom about Hope coming to stay for awhile.

Jayden looked down at her when she lowered her head onto his shoulder making him frown a little. "Oh.." He breathed out as he nibbled on his lower lip hoping it was just a couple days. He nodded at what the nurse said before watching her leave. Letting out a sigh, he looked at Audrey who seemed to be distracted on her phone...as usual. Once Hope spoke, he shrugged. "And just leave you here?" He raised an eyebrow and shook his head. "It's fine..I can handle a night in the hospital." He mumbled giving her a small smile. Looking back at Audrey, he rubbed his forehead. "Audrey..just go home..I'll stay here for the night." He mumbled already feeling tired from all that happened.

Audrey lifted her head when Jayden said that she could go. "O-Oh alright then." She smiled as she put her phone back into her pocket. "I hope you feel better soon." She said looking at Hope "And Jayden...don't you wander off anymore without telling me or mom." She rolled her eyes and opened the door. "See you two tomorrow." She smiled as she left,closing the door behind her.

Watching her leaving the room Hope pulled the covers over her to try sleeping. It was the only thing she can do though wanted to ask Jayden why he did what he did. Sure, he had feelings but enough to care that much? Lying on her side pushing strands of her hair back as she watched Jayden with a smile while she closed her eyes "Night." she mumbled trying to drift off to sleep. Once she did Hope only dreamed about Andrew hurting her, slightly she whimpers threw the night. The fear of almost dying like that by someone she knew by a hunter. Now other creatures might have felt..

Jayden moved to sit down on the chair and shifted around a bit since he felt uncomfortable. Looking over at Hope, he smiled back at her before she closed her eyes. "Night." He yawned as he continued to find a comfortable position. After a bit he gave up and fell asleep awkwardly. After a while, he woke up a bit hearing her whimpers making him frown. He forced himself up off the chair and walked over to her feeling unsure if he should wake her up. At the thought, he shook his head and sat down on the edge of the bed before leaning his back against the wall as he looked down at her. Hopefully she wasn't having too much of a bad dream. He lightly rubbed her arm before glancing around the room not knowing how to soothe her.

Flashes of that day the arguing, the drugs, how Andrew had harmed her> Hope's crying worsened soon as her dreams went to the parts of him cutting and stabbing her "Stop.." she sobbed. Yet, soon as she felt Jayden's hand like her body knew his touch her tears died down. Licking her lips in her sleep before opening her eyes half way "Jay.. You look awful." she laughed weakly. Hope would let him lay next to her if he felt comfortable being that close to her.

Jayden's eyes saddened as her crying worsened before her tears died down making him breathe a sigh of relief. Once she opened her eyes half way, he scoffed as she weakly laughed making him slightly smile. "You aren't the one to talk." He mumbled lowly, his voice sounding deeper than usual since he woke up. He rubbed his throat for a second and breathed out heavily. "Besides, how do you expect me to look in the middle of the night..with a very uncomfortable sleep?" He raised an eyebrow with a quiet chuckle. Looking down at her lips, he lightly pecked them before hesitantly looking at her. "Just go back to sleep." He mumbled.

"Like a fairy princess with a magic wand in your hand." she mumbled drifting back to sleep as she hand held his wrist, feeling his sweet lips "Lay with me." Hope pulled his arm "You can lay next to me it's better than a chair.. If you want too." Soon after she fell back to sleep. Morning came as the nurse woke up Hope carefully not to wake up Jayden while Hope took her meds. Checking out her breathing, heart, etc. “Well, it wouldn’t hurt for you to go home today, I’ll call Miss. Rivera to come get you.”

Jayden rolled his eyes with a small quiet chuckle at what she mumbled before feeling his arm being pulled. He thought about her offer as he looked back at the chair before turning to look at her seeing she was asleep. He smiled as pulled a few strands of her hair away from her face. Yawning, he shifted around slowly to not wake her and fell asleep with one arm dangling on the edge. In the morning, he slightly woke up as he glanced around the room feeling a bit off. Turning his head, he looked up at Hope before he groaned hating how the sun light was so bright making him bury his face on the bed. After a couple seconds,he felt like the couldn't breath making him lift his head as he shifted his back turned to her. "Morning." He breathed feeling unable to turn his head since the light was coming from that direction.

//Ah, I think I am heading to bed early this time >.< I'm tired so..night!

Hope looked over to see Jayden had slept next to her though out the night. Leaning over she kissed his cheek "Morning you can close the shades to block out the sun it’s pretty bright." she giggled, wanting Audery to pick up the phone and come get her already. Her face had some slight color to her cheeks feeling better this morning but now only she could walk for Hope didn’t feel right for Jayden to be helping her out like her own personal nurse. The thought of it made her laugh to herself picturing her making Jayden wear a girl's nurse outfit.

Audrey woke up as she turned her body around to reach her phone. Grabbing a hold of what she thought was her phone, she lifted it up before looking at it making her chuckle seeing it was her alarm clock. Placing it back down, she rolled out of bed and landed on the floor making her flinch. "Ok! Now,I am awake." She mumbled to herself as she opened a cabinet while moving her hair away from her face. Picking up the phone from the cabinet, she responded. "Hello?" She smiled as she stood back on her feet and jumped over to her bed laying down on her side. Quickly, she turned her head seeing Neca in the door frame. "Hold on." She mumbled as she put the phone down. "Yea?" She raised an eyebrow with a smile. Neca eyed her suspiciously "Nothing...just wanted to see what you were up to...and I heard you guys found Jayden." Neca said as she placed her hands on her hips. "So? Where is he?" Audrey fiddled with the phone a bit and breathed out a small sigh. "I am actually on my way to get him....along with his friend...so BEHAVE." She pointed to her with a chuckle. "Don't want a mess around here..in other words, no biting." She mumbled with a smirk before walking over and closing the door as Neca backed away with an eye roll. Jumping back on her bed, she picked up the phone again. "Sorry!"

Jayden felt her lips on his cheek making him smile a bit before quickly getting off of the bed to close the curtains. Once he did, he sighed of relief as he eyes felt more awake due to the light not being so strong. He walked over to her again and sat on the edge as he raised an eyebrow when she laughed. "What?" He asked looking at her with confusion before shrugging. "Anyways, I see you are starting to look better." He smiled "So..how do you feel?"

"Oh nothing. I was just picturing you in a girl's nurses outfit seeing you might have to help me get back on my feet." It was times like this Hope wished she was part of a supernatural creature as they heal fasting that humans. She felt hungry wanting a stake or big mac, anything to eat besides hospital food. "Nothing a little make-up can't do right?" she raised an eyebrow at Jayden smirking at him. He's been rather happy than his grumpy 'fuck the world' self, it was nice to see a smile on his face all the time "I'm feeling better than yesterday. I can hardly notice the pain if only my legs didn't feel like jellow and I can go for a big mac." Hope laughed.

"Yes, Miss. Blacklock is ready to be release anytime. Your welcome to stop by this afternoon and come get her and Mr. Rivera." the nurse said over the phone while writing down pain pills for Hope to help her sleep though the night.

"Wha-??" He quickly scrunched up his face not picturing himself in a girl's nurses outfit. "No..just no." He shook his head as he ran a hand through his hair trying to fix it up. "Seriously though?" He grimaced "God, you imagination is strange." He mumbled as he raised his eyebrows. "Besides, there are such things as male nurses." He chuckled. "Yep. Girls use it all the time...although...sometimes once the make-up if off." He shivered a bit at the thought making him shake his head. "That's good to hear." He smiled before rolling his eyes. "A big mac? Really? Well...I highly doubt a McDonalds is in the hospital,but I guess....my sister can stop by..?" He said with an unsure tone as he shrugged.

"Already?" She said with a surprise tone of voice. That was pretty quick for Hope being a human,then again...she still needed care once released."Alright! I'll be there." She mumbled as she hung up. Luckily, she had a talk wit her mom..and she was ok with it. Now, the only problem was if Neca was gonna be fine with it. She looked fine..but knows what she is really thinking. She put the phone down and quickly changed,not being bothered to take a shower. Besides, her hair seemed fine. Walking out, she went to drive her mom's car and drove to the hospital making it there after a half hour or so.

"A girl's nursed outfit makes it much funnier than a guy’s Jayden." she tapped her finger against her head giving him a cheesy grin "But that's what makes me oh so adorable. Like you don't have a imagery mind Jayjay?" Hope teased laughing so much it started to hurt as she hissed slightly. "Stupid stomach and yes Jayden I want a big mac cause damn it I deserve one." she flickered her finger against his nose "They only gave me soup to eat." Sure, it was because they didn’t know how well her stomach would handle a soiled mean and feed her liquids

"Yea but...a girl's nurse outfit..how is that amusing on any level." He mumbled with an eyebrow raised. "Although...if it was the other way around." He smirked as his mind wandered off imagining her with a nurse outfit. "Mm, I like that idea better." He mumbled with a small grin. He slightly rolled his eyes when she teased. "I have an imaginary mind..but yours is just..weird." He chuckled before flinching as she hissed. He frowned a little making him feel like it was his fault before sighing of relief. "You don't deserve that." He rolled his eyes as he looked down at her stomach. "Besides, you don't even know if your stomach can handle that!" He pointed to her stomach with a small smirk as he raised his eyebrows. "Don't want you throwing it up,you know."

Hope opened her mouth dropping her jaw "You can only get me into that if we have a costume party at school." she said not ever seeing herself slipping into one of them in a million years. Yet, the idea of her in one and Jayden 'helping' her take it off turned her on. "So your not into weird girls?" she shrugged her shoulders, "I guess this wouldn't work out between us. I'm weird and your well.. you." She smiled at him. Hope quickly pouted at what he said "No, but I don't like eating just soup."

//I'm gonna go. Dad's taking me out to dinner talk to you later!

He eyed her a bit when her jaw dropped making him breathe a chuckle. "Only?" He raised an eyebrow as he rubbed his chin "Hmm...well, when there is a costume party..which occasionally happens...I will look forward to it." He mumbled with a grin as he looked down at her lips. "And who knows? I might be sick that day..so you will have to help me feel better." He grinned looking back into her eyes as he raised his eyebrows up and down. He chuckled and shook his head. "I am into weird girls...they have the most twisted minds,you know." He grinned before chuckling. "I think taking care of yourself..is wayyy more important than a big mac...unless we have the thumbs up..THEN I'll get you what you want..how does that sound?"

"And who said I'll even help you? I might just let you lay in bed crying to help while I drink a bottle of jack?" she grinned laughing at his little eyebrow thing. Hope leaned closer towards Jayden peeking his lips quickly how sweet they were like she could kiss them all day and never get tired of it. "Alright I'll be a good girl for now and do what i am told. BUT afterwards I'm going back to ignoring your wishes." Her eyes looked up seeing his sister walked in and though about cloths. Hope face palmed herself looking up at Jayden cutely seeing if he'll go back to her house and get some cloths for her. Thinking about it for a moment it means he'll look though her underwear "Umm... What am i going to do about clothes?"

"Hmm..Alright fine. Be that way,but if you end up getting sick don't bother coming to me." He pointed to himself as he moved away from the bed. "In fact, you aren't my problem." He teased as he crossed his arms. He smiled at her when she pecked his lips and breathed a chuckle. "Fair enough." He mumbled with a shrug. When Audrey came in, he gave her a small wave before raising his eyebrow as she face-palmed. When she turned to look at him cutely, he looked at her suspiciously not sure what she was expecting him to do...about whatever she was thinking about. He slumped onto the couch and rubbed his forehead before he lifted his head when she mention her clothes. "Oh...well,um...I can get them." He offered as he hid his smirk.

Audrey opened the door and smiled as she waved excitedly at them. "Hey! How did you two sleep?" She asked as she walked over to the end of the bed. Raising an eyebrow, she didn't know what was going on when Hope face-palmed. "Did I say something wrong?" She asked hesitantly before breathing a chuckle when she mention her clothes. Looking over at Jayden, she rolled her eyes at what he said. Looking down at the ground, she slightly smirked. "Jayden could do that..or we could go shopping for new clothes?" She shrugged not minding either way.

Hope wasn't going to lie "I had nightmares but soon as Jayden sat by my side they were gone... I guess they took a look at that face and ran away." she said smirking over at Jayden. She still felt uneasy about Jayden going through her stuff looking at her cloths possibly picking out ones what she doesn't hardly wear. Hope didn't want then buying her new cloths already they were being so kind thinking she was just a human that was friends with Jayden. They didn't know the truth it was painful just to think about it "Um, Jayden could get some cloths and get my money that's in my music box." she glanced at Jayden. "I could use some new cloths but I don't want you guys to waist your money."
